Just when you think the environment is under control a new problem crops up in the news. Non-stick coated pans are not safe anymore and PAHs are showing up as a result of road repairs. Food continues to have issues as contaminants and adulterants change and are identified. The legalization of Cannabis and dosage through food products further complicates the analytical perspective.
Horizon Technology is committed to staying abreast of these issues and offering methods and guidance to laboratories to help with effective extractions, extract drying and evaporation. Since up to 20% of the variation in an analysis may be due to the sample preparation step, this is an issue of great importance. A few of our recent applications are listed here, but please have a look at our full library of applications that can be accessed for free.
