Automated Direct-to-Vial Solvent
Evaporation System that Emulates
Traditional
KD Method with Optional In-Line
Drying
Salem, NH, November 1, 2010 -Horizon Technology announces the DryVap® Concentrator System which automatically combines Kuderna Danish (KD), Nitrogen Blow Down and "Drying" of Organic Solvents into one easy step with precision for ultimate speed and convenience prior to GC and GC/ MS analyses of water, soil and food samples.
With its unique built in DryDisk® Separation Membrane, the DryVap® Concentrator automatically dries solvents of residual water in seconds and concentrates solvent volumes from 2-200ml to precisely 0.9 mL in less than 30 minutes. Sealed glass evaporation vessels prevent cross-contamination and sample loss for optimal recoveries. Designed for bench top operation, the system can process 6 samples simultaneously. This high performance concentrator delivers superior analyte recoveries at a fraction of the time, effort and labor with fully unattended operation.
