DID YOU KNOW:
When is a Safety Bottle Not Safe?

Horizon Technology recommends changing the safety coated solvent bottles yearly. Over time, the safety coated bottles can develop hairline cracks, usually when the bottles are knocked together during refilling.

The pressure eventually expands the crack until a fracture occurs. Once you have a fracture, the solvent and nitrogen are released, but the glass is held together by
the solvent coating, so it seems fine, but is not suitable for continued use.

The part number for the bottles is 27-0042. To place an order call
1-800-997-2997 or email us at orders@horizontechinc.com.
