An exciting new development is underway at at Horizon Technology
with the development of Atlantic SPE disks, and pre filters
designed to work with specific EPA Methods. This is great
news for laboratories that use our disks.
In addition
to the standard range of Horizon Technology SPE Disks, we
are providing a range of application specific SPE disks, tailored
for specific industry methods and applications. These disks
are being designed, manufactured and certified to provide
specific solutions for the analysis of samples using these
particular EPA Methods.

Atlantic SPE Disks are being developed for the following EPA
Methods: 506, 508.1, 515.2, 525.2, 526, 527, 529, 550.1, 608,

YOU KNOW:
When
is a Safety Bottle Not Safe?
Horizon
Technology recommends changing the safety coated solvent bottles
yearly. Over time, the safety coated bottles can develop hairline
cracks, usually when the bottles are knocked together during
refilling.
The pressure
eventually expands the crack until a fracture occurs. Once
you have a fracture, the solvent and nitrogen are released,
but the glass is held together by
the solvent coating, so it seems fine, but is not suitable
for continued use.
The part
number for the bottles is 27-0042. To place an order call
1-800-997-2997 or email us at orders@horizontechinc.com.
