Job Description:

This is an in-house position with the primary focus on chemistry applications and product testing. The key objective of this position is to provide additional hands on support for Chemical R&D. This support covers a full range of chemistry related tasks to confirm proper instrument operation, method development for new applications, and optimizing sample preparation procedures for new products, and / or existing company products. Some of these tasks will be to determine the physical and chemical properties of compounds using quantitative and qualitative analyses in physical, organic, or inorganic chemistry. Responsibilities would also include performing a variety of chemical tests and to be knowledgeable with Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), GC, GC/MS, HPLC/UV/MS instrumental techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform specific chemistry related tasks, as directed by the Chemical R&D director.
  • Perform various tests on company products to develop new methods and procedures, or to optimize current methods.
  • Assist the other Staff members specific developments / method tests
  • Perform in house chemistry, which includes running customer samples, product testing, and other technical support as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Chemistry.
  • Working experience with GC and or HPLC. (Familiarity with ChemStation software is a plus)

Job Description:

Summary of Responsibilities: The SPE Instrumentation Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product(s) throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product attributes and market needs, while working closely with engineering and other internal departments, to deliver winning products to a clearly defined customer base. This role also includes working closely with sales, marketing and customer support departments to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts for existing and new SPE instruments support the company's overall strategic goals.

Primary Responsibilities include:

1. Define a clear product strategy and create a roadmap for future product development activities
2. Deliver MRDs (Marketing Reqt's with prioritized and specific features and corresponding market justification
3. Work with senior management and outside resources to develop effective and clear messaging for SPE Instrumentation.
4. Be an expert with respect to the processes and competitive systems in the area of sample preparation or SPE or related separation sciences.
5. Develop the core positioning and messaging for new and existing instruments
6. Perform product demonstrations to customers as well as international partners and resellers
7. Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals while ensuring market acceptance
8. Deliver regular revenue forecasts and projections as well as corrective action plans should they be required
9. Develop effective sales tools and collateral materials for successful sale and promotion of products
10. Participate in establishing an overall marketing budget to ensure success
11. Deliver product training internally and externally in a timely and professional manner
12. Inform press and media analysts as needed to build positive brand awareness
13. Attend and participate in industry tradeshows, seminars, and other corporate sponsored events
14. Act as a leader within the company

Required experience and knowledge

1. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager for capital equipment products to environmental or life science laboratories
2. Demonstrated success defining and launching instrumentation products to a scientific community
3. Min of (5) years experience in the promotion and development of chromatography or related products
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
6. Technical background, with experience in Chemistry, Environmental sciences, Separation sciences or Chromatography
7. Excellent team work skills
8. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
9. Function as primary product champion
10. Estimated travel for this position is 35-40% (Domestic and international)

Other Responsibilities:

- Implementation of strategic marketing plans.
- Conduct market research and provide insights on competitor technologies and price points. Work with internal and external resources to create marketing/collateral and presentation material to support sales and launch new products.

Job Description:

The Sr. Quality Engineer will ensure total product quality, defining and performing incoming inspection, working with vendors, and tracking and resolving corrective actions and instituting preventive actions aimed to ultimately improve product performance and quality leading to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and perform incoming mechanical inspection and coordinate Non-Conforming Material resolution, lead technical interactions with vendors to resolve issues to ensure incoming parts meet or exceed requirements. " Coordinate the Materials Review Board (MRB) to resolve nonconformance dispositions.
  • Create incoming tracking and Ship to Stock approval process.
  • Lead Corrective and Preventive Action activities to resolve internal and external issues. Track and implement corrective and preventative actions for final product quality, tracking "Out of Box Failures" and ensuring timely and thorough response to customers.
  • Measure and improve manufacturing, supplier, and customer quality levels.
  • Apply sound, systematic, problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating and resolving quality and manufacturing issues.
  • Develop, refine and document Quality plans for new products, supplier processes, Test and Inspection processes.
  • Participate as major contributor to Supplier Approval, performing supplier quality surveys and audits.

Overview:

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a high energy, results and team oriented, Staff/Cost Accountant. This position will be exposed to multiple areas of accounting and financial reporting and will participate in day to day operations, multiple aspects of the month end close and the preparation of the financial reporting package.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost accounting analyses and reports, including inventory reconciliation,
    standard cost variance (PPV) and product gross margin.
  • Balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Maintain the standard costs for all products and BOM's.
  • Fixed assets.
  • Commissions.
  • Quarterly sales and use tax reporting.
  • Accounts receivable.
  • Analyze actual results against the budget/forecast.
  • Month end close and preparation of journal entries.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
